Skateboard POPEYE BY JEFF KOONS

Internationally recognized American-artist, Jeff Koons is paying homage to the Venus of Willendorf in his Balloon Venus Skateboard. In his Antiquity series, Koons reimagined the ancient limestone figurine as a balloon. The Venus is transformed into a large-scale reflective stainless steel sculpture in a contemporary way but reinvisioned for today. Here we see the piece appear on skateboards presented as a diptych.
