Kong Origin sculpture by Richard Orlinksi

So, in 2010, Richard Orlinski sculpted Wild Kong, his first faceted Kong in resin, standing, pounding his torso with his fists. Since then, the artist has continued to transform his Kong: brandishing a barrel of oil, dressed like a boxer or a football player, endowed with the attributes of Superheroes, in the position of Rodin's Thinker... This time, Richard Orlinski gives us his vision of the original Kong, the legendary Kong. Same mouth, same faceted muscular body as the previous ones, but for the standing position, the sculptor has substituted the attitude of a wild animal. Kong supports himself on the soles of his feet and on one folded hand. Ready to pounce, Kong raises his head and calls out to dazzle us better. For the first time, the Artist adopts a matte finish for his emblematic red.
